Inshore Rockfish
We really enjoy this trip, running light gear when we are casting into the rocks. Or we jig with light jigs in water up to 120 feet. On these trips, we pursue black rockfish/seabass but often we have by-catch of lingcod, cabezon, and other bottom fish. This is a great family-friendly trip. It is often fast-paced with lots of excitement! Also a great trip for those who are not quite ready to go offshore and try to figure out their sea legs.
Things You should know:
- May, June, July, August, September
- We have rods and reels for everyone on board, plus all the gear needed to fill the boat with fish.
- We filet and bag your catch for the ride home.
- We want everyone to go home with a smile on their face and a bag full of fish. Therefore we split the catch between all anglers.
- Inshore Rockfish trips are 4-8 hours.
- All fishing gear is included. Please inquire before bringing any personal fishing gear aboard.
- Balance is due prior to your charter’s departure. A gratuity of 15-20% for the deckhands is customary.

Cancellation policy
- A $400 deposit is required to book a date. Your date isn’t reserved until we receive your deposit.
- If you cancel within 14 days of your trip, you will forfeit your deposit.
- If we cancel your trip due to weather or mechanical issues we will refund your trip within 24 hours.
What to bring
- A valid Washington State saltwater fishing license is required.
- Plan for all types of weather. We recommend extra layers and a full set of rain gear, including waterproof shoes. Knee boots are the preferred footwear for these trips since we are constantly washing down the deck.
- A sack lunch, snacks, and drinks. It’s a long day on the water so plan to bring plenty of food and drinks. Pack your lunch and snacks in a small lunchbox or bag.
- Please no glass containers.
- Beer is fine on the boat. But please don’t be that guy that gets out of hand. We will end your trip early and there won’t be a refund.
- Don’t forget your sunglasses and sunscreen.
- A cooler to leave in your car to take your catch home.
