Frequently Asked Question
There is a lot going on out on the water, At C-word Charters we aim to be upfront and explain and inform all of our clients to the best of our ability. Rain gear is not a must but it really helps to keep blood and slime off of your clothes. Rubber boots are recommended due to there is always water on the boat and your feet will get wet if you don't have them.
All fishing required gear is already on the boat, Ask the captain about what license is needed ahead of time. A cooler with ice is recommended to put your catch in when we get back to the marina. If you have your own rod you want to use, please ask ahead of time and I will let you know if it is acceptable.
I supply bottled water and have ginger ale on the boat. I also have crackers and chips. I recommend to pack a lunch.
Beer is allowed on the boat.
Lodging can be difficult to acquire on short notice. There are a few motels in Forks that are about a 20-minute drive and one in La Push. If you have a camper there are typically always camping spots available.
